Femoral triangle: It is a triangular depression located below the inguinal ligament in the upper 1/3rd of front of thigh.

• Lateral boundary is formed by the medial border of sartorius.
• Medial boundary is formed by the medial border of adductor longus.
• Apex is present where sartorius overlaps adductor longus
• Base is formed by inguinal ligament.
